Kaiserhof Hotel Hospital, Dar-es-Salaam

Clearly Hospital capacity in Dar-es-Salaam was in high demand. This former hotel appears to have been converted to deal with the influx of the injured and those suffering from the various diseases in East Africa. Note the Union and Red Cross flag flying from the structure. When the British formerly took over the Mandate, they converted the building back in to a hotel and renamed it the New Africa Hotel.
