Lady Hardinge War Hospital, Bombay


With the increasing involvement of the Indian Army in the war effort, the Prince of Wales Museum of West India in Bombay was converted to a war hospital in 1915 named in honour of the wife of the then Viceroy Lord Charles Hardinge. It was reopened as a museum the following year.
