The mountain defended by Bungal Khan and his followers. These paintings as well as 89 other drawings were made by the author of The Zhob Field Force 1890 by Captain Crawford McFall KOYLI (William Heinemann 1895) who tells us that Bungal Khan surrendered himself two years later, in 1892. He was a ‘small, and at first sight, an insignificant looking man; a nearer inspection, however, discovered a wiry frame, keen features, and a penetrating glance showing decided force of character.
