HMS Ivy

It is not clear when this photograph was taken as HMS Ivy refers to two ships which were only laid down during World War One. He may have misremembered the name of the ship on which he arrived in Nigeria or this picture may be out of sequence and shows an actual HMS Ivy during the war in Nigeria when Dr Glover was also in the colony.
