The back of this postcard dates the image to 26th of November 1936. About this time, Dr Glover appears to have been posted to work at Lagos as the Deputy DMS (Director of Medical Services) the second most senior medical officer in Nigeria and when the Director was on leave then Dr Glover would have effectively been in charge of the medical provision for all of Nigeria.
