| These photographs are from Dr Glover's time in training or on leave. Given the relative unhealthiness of West Africa to Europeans and the length of time to travel by ocean liner, provisions for leave were generally very generous. Most of these pictures though are from before he set off on his African travels in 1912. His family home was located at Dyce in Aberdeenshire near the River Don. The titles are those that Dr Glover used himself in his photograph album. |
