The Standard of the King’s Dragoon Guards was paraded for the last time on 20 Nov 1958, at Perham Down, Tidworth. This is a detail from a photo of the Standard party in which a Warrant Officer carries the standard supported in a white shoulder belt. The parts of the Standard that are visible match the illustration. We can see battle honours for WARBURG, WATERLOO and TAKU FORTS, and the central cypher GvR.
