This side drum belonged to the band of the 2nd Battalion the Norfolk Regiment c1925. The distressed condition would suggest that it is a survivor of WW1 but battle honours for the Great War can be seen, so dating it later. LE CATEAU and HINDENBURG LINE are visible. The predominant image is the Royal Arms with the King’s Crest on top. The figure of Britannia within a laurel wreath is below that.
