These musicians wear the khaki service dress worn during WW1. The Norfolk Regiment raised extra battalions for the war so nine in all, each having a band. The battalion to which this group belonged is unidentified. The bandmaster sits behind the time-beater’s drum, wearing khaki but having an officer’s pattern blue forage cap with embroidered Britannia badge.
