The artist Edward Dayes produced this print of an officer of the 9th Regiment. The enlargement reveals the design on the silver belt-plate as being the figure of Britannia without a crown above. The edging is beaded. The print was engraved by T Kirk, C H Hodges and C Borkhardt and published on 1 Dec 1792.
