Pipe Major Ian Morrison 1976


Pipe Major Morrison of the Queen’s Own Highlanders wears green no.1 dress with a kilt and shoulder plaid of the Cameron of Erracht tartan. He has gold braid on his collar, cuffs and shoulder wings and has a tall eagle feather in his blue glengarry cap. His right sleeve has four gold stripes and a piper’s badge above. The pipe banner shows the reverse side which is blue with a buff and blue fringe around the edge. The other side is buff with a small Union flag in the top corner. The regimental badge is embroidered on both sides, a stag's head with motto, a thistle between the horns, and the Queen’s crown above.
