Oliver Cromwell


The 1640s were a time of upheaval for Britain as it cascaded into Civil War. However, the 1650s would see a new muscular strength as the New Model Army and the Parliamentarian Navy decided to take their revolutionary fervour to their Catholic foes in Ireland or against Spain.
