Collar Badges

Collar Badges

This pattern of collar badge was worn from around the mid 1890s and lasted more than a century. In WW1 officers of the KOSB wore bronze collar badges on the khaki service dress. In modern times a bi-metal version was worn by other ranks in no.1 dress. Officers in dress uniform wore an embroidered version. The photo is from British Army Badges by Robin Hodges (2005).
