This unique badge is worn by only one man in the KOSB, the Pipe Major. It has the whole badge of the regiment, topped by the Dog and Bonnet which is Queen Victoria’s Royal Crest, dating the plate from 1887. It measures 8 x 10.75cm. The photo is from British Army Badges by Robin Hodges (2005).
