This silver clasp dates from c1887 as indicated by the Victorian crown. It is worn in modern times by the pipers and drummers of the KOSB on the waist-belt. The central Dog and Bonnet (Royal Crest) is surrounded by a border of thistles. It measures 9.5 x 7.5cm. The photo is from British Army Badges by Robin Hodges (2005).
