Three photos of the Light Company officer’s coatee show details of the collar, wings and coat-tail ornaments. The buttons on the collar have a Hanoverian crown over 25. The thickly quilted gold button-hole loops look plain but must have involved a great deal of work on the part of the embroiderers.
The fringed flank company gold shoulder-wings have a small stringed bugle badge in the centre. And the lower photo shows the embroidery on the coat-tails; a stringed bugle horn between laurel sprays, with 25 on a blue background.
