The Yeomanry

Officer's Mess Waistcoat

The scarlet waistcoat retained this style from the 1850s although the collar was rounded in the early days. The pockets are edged with silver Rusia braid and a line of braid traces the edge of the garment round the collar, down the front and along the hem. The waistcoat was fastened with 22 buttons.
