Waist-Belt Clasps 2004

These belt clasps were worn in 2004 by officers and men of The Highlanders (Seaforth, Gordons and Camerons). The top example is an officer’s rectangular waist-belt clasp, based on the Cameron Highlanders’ badge of St Andrew and thistle wreath. The lower belt clasp, worn by the rank-and-file, is a plain burnished brass rectangle with a white metal badge of St Andrew which has a scroll inscribed WATERLOO. These photos come from British Army Badges by Lt-Colonel Robin Hodges (2005).
