The Jewish Legion and Crownhill Fort

This picture was taken during the First World War. Sadly it is not clear when it was taken nor which unit is on parade. However, this is the kind of parade that the Jewish Legion would have participated in regularly. However, they would have the Star of David in addition to the Union Jack flying over the fort.

Below are pictures taken in 1924 at the time of the King George's Birthday. It shows the 2nd Battalion South Staffordshires. Lt-General Tucker is the colonel inspecting on this occasion.
