Royal Navy at Valparaiso


There are very few images of the Royal Navy at its Chilean base of Valparaiso. This is one of the very few. This watercolour shows HMS Collingwood at anchor there in 1841. You can see other Royal Naval ships at anchor and a Union Jack flying.
