The highly decorative pouch worn by officers from 1830 to 1837 has William IV’s cypher and Guelphic crown with WATERLOO battle honour and oak-leaf wreath surrounded by a slim lace border. All the lace and embroidery match the dress sabretache, being gold, although it looks silver. The yellow background is in fact faded dark blue. This pattern was introduced c1821 but with the cypher of George IV.
