This coloured postcard shows the yellow cord aiguillettes on the left shoulder of the trumpeter’s dress tunic which has a regimental double-headed eagle badge on the collar, and 1 DG embroidered on the shoulder straps. He has two good conduct stripes on his left sleeve, just above the half-concealed Austrian knot. He has slings for his sword, linked together, while the sword and scabbard are attached to the saddle. The tassels and cords on the trumpet have been incorrectly coloured green when they should be in the royal colours of blue, yellow and red.
