Officer’s Cap Badge c1920


The badge worn in WW1 had been bronze and dull along with all other military badges, but after the war officers could wear a more striking version, gilt and silver with blue enamel. Other ranks had bimetal badges for the cap and collar, and NCOs wore them as regimental arm badges.
