The bi-metal badge is based on the crossed carbines badge of the 6th Dragoon Guards. The title HAMPSHIRE YEOMANRY is on an oval strap with the Hampshire Rose inside. The King’s Crown was adopted in 1901. This badge was worn on the peaked forage cap that was worn from c1907 and continued to be worn throughout the 20th century.
