Other Ranks’ Buttons 1909

Two patterns of brass buttons were worn on the dress uniform issued in 1909. The large button fastened the front of the blue tunic; nine closely spaced buttons, and six more on the skirts at the back of the tunic. The small button was worn on the shoulder straps and just above the false pocket flaps on the back skirts.
