| The date of this gilt and silver plate in unclear but it ceased to be worn after 1855 when shoulder belts were discontinued. The silver belt-plates were replaced by gilt plates in 1830 and the title Queen's Own was taken on in 1831. Only one battle honour, EGYPT, appears on the plate. |
