George Paulet exchanged from the 8th Hussars into the Scots Greys on 22 April 1859. He then moved to the Life Guards on 30 Jan 1863 as a lieutenant. On 6 July 1867 he exchanged back to the Greys. The photo shows him as a lieutenant in the stable dress of the Greys, in 1862.
