British Empire Title

8th Gurkhas

Other Ranks, 1896

The naik in the middle is in full dress, showing the different tunic worn from the earlier style (see Gurkha Officer 1880 ). He has a silver 44 badge on his Kilmarnock cap. The men either side of him are in service dress. The havildar on the left is short even by Gurkha standards.
