British Empire Title

Rajah Lal Singh

According to a contemporary account, when Lal Singh entered the Sikh camp leading 14,000 regular cavalry and 'heaven knows how many irregulars', he was greeted with a salute from 80 guns. He wears old fashioned French armour giving him the appearance of a medieval knight. Chain mail and helmets were favoured by the Sikhs. He survived the war to become a peacetime leader of his people.
