The new silver drums are fully displayed on this occasion, at Tidworth in 1913, as their acquisition was through the generosity of a former CO who was highly regarded, Colonel Stewart-MacKenzie. The shabraque can be seen, but the new tack is also well shown here. The breast badge and brass fittings on the straps as well as a black and white horsehair throat plume. The horse is the last of the cream-coloured drum horses of the regiment, presented to them around the same time. The drummer is unnamed but is a sergeant wearing full dress and a lance cap with black and white drooping plume.
