Bazaar Badge 1903

This brass badge, referred to as the Bazaar badge, has crossed axes and Roman numeral 32 with the Imperial crown. It was in 1877 that Queen Victoria was titled Empress of India. The regiment was numbered 32nd from 1861 and named Punjab Pioneers in 1863. However the title 32nd Sikh Pioneers was attained in 1903. This badge has SIKH PIONEERS inscribed below, and the motto AUT VIAM INVINIAM AUT FACIAM (I shall either find a way or make one).
