This photo, from a Bosley catalogue shows the short-lived design that was introduced in 1829 during the reign of George IV. The following year the same design had the cypher of William IV. This example is incomplete as it is missing the silver cut star that should be between the central gilt design and the burnished gilt plate. There are 14 battle honours on this plate which for some reason omit CORUNNA (awarded to the 3rd Battalion 20 Feb 1812). The 14 battle honours are listed below with the dates of the award.
