The sketch, made in 1974 by W Y Carman, is from an item in the possession of the National Army Museum, Chelsea. It is on blue cloth, probably dark blue, with 1 above BLC. The upper battle honour is CABOOL 1842. The lower honours are less legible but ALIWAL seems to be the middle one, with, probably LESWAREE on the left and MAHARAJPORE on the right. The silver lace around the edge is light dragoon herringbone train pattern.
