This sabretache was made for the Prince of Wales and would have been in line with sabretaches worn by the other officers in the 10th Light Dragoons. It is made of brown and red leather, covered with a leopardskin face. The border is the more conventional type, in gold check-pattern lace. The GP cypher and Prince of Wales feathers are in silver although the coronet os probably in gold with coloured jewels.
