The battle honour for WATERLOO was granted on 8 Dec 1815 so it is likely that the new scroll was added onto this example in 1816. The colours are the same as the 1815 sabretache, silver GP cypher, gold embroidery and lace. The gold lace edging is the vellum-and-point pattern which was changed to plain straight vellum after 1820.
