10th Bengal Light Cavalry

Officer’s Dress Pouch

The pistol ammunition pouch worn with the silver-laced pouch-belt was constructed of wood covered with dark blue leather and having the silver flap, engraved around the edge, and embellished with the regimental X in a laurel wreath, and BLC with the battle honour for BHURTPORE beneath. The belt and pouch were worn by British officers with the dress uniform and in some orders of undress.
