Although an older image, this glass plate by Jonathan Hill shows a great panorama of much of the area discussed by Douglas Witchell. His house would have been to the left of this image behind Mount Wise. Devil's Point and the victualling station of Royal William Yard is to the centre-slightly right of the picture. Cyber Heritage
