Canadian Firefighters in Plymouth


Inspired by the suffering of Britain's cities in the blitz, Canadian firefighters volunteered in unprecedented numbers to come to London and Plymouth to help deal with the threat from the German Luftwaffe. The location of this fire station was on the corner of The Drive and Lyndrick Road in Hartley (see map).
