Freeing Slaves


Britain certainly underwent a moral revolution between the eighteenth and Nineteenth Century. They had gone from being the most active slaving nation on the planet to the most anti-slaving nation in a surprisingly short period of time. It wasn't just West Africa that Britain sought to seek amends, East Africa and the Central lakes all saw Britain actively deploy resources and manpower to hunt out slavers and free their slaves in a highly activist manner.
